Move-In

If you would like to request NEW water service with the City of Fort Lauderdale, please use the Move-In request form below.
If you would like to request a TRANSFER of your current service to a different address serviced by the City of Fort Lauderdale*, please provide your current account number and use the Move-In request form below
A Customer Service Representative will contact you within two (2) business days to complete your request.

  • IF you do not receive a follow-up call from a Customer Service Representative in two (2) business days, please call (954)828-5150 with your issue request number.

  • IF you do not have a completed, executed Lease, please complete the Utility Service Application found at http://www.fortlauderdale.gov/home/showdocument?id=5799

  • There is a $10 connection fee for each meter at the property and a deposit may be required.

Your disconnect date for your current property and the connect date for your new property must be the same service day.
